Networking Tips for the Holidays

The holidays are a time to rejoice, be merry and enjoy a well-earned break until the new year. But if you're dedicated to your DuVita business, it's also a great time to kick your actions into high gear.

The holiday season is a promising time to build your customer base, as well as to recruit.
There are several opportunities for rank advancements, earning bonuses, and to take advantage of the need and desire of the general population to be healthier, wealthier, and happier in the New Year!
People want to start the new year with the right goals in place before the first week of January. Whether it be fitness goals, family vacation planning, or financial planning… these thoughts are swirling in the heads of many.

Get a jump on your own 2011 business goals, and keep your DuVita business strong during the holidays, with these tips:

Network at Holiday Events
Set a goal to meet, connect with and learn from three to five people at an event. Conversations should be focused on the person you're speaking with. Show genuine interest in their lives, interests, and personal goals.

The goal is to start building rapport and trust, as well as setting the stage for future follow up. Give out business cards, Discover DuVita Journals, and because it's a season of giving, offer to give them some product samples.

Follow Up with Contacts
After the event, follow up with a note, email, facebook message, or phone call. SMART MARKETING TIP: Invite them to view a Discover DuVita webinar. (Check the EVENTS page of your DuVita website for a schedule of national webinars!)

Network with Customers
The holidays are a perfect time to reach out to your Customers to wish them holiday and new year's greetings. Take the time to call your customers or email them to discuss their wellness goals and expectations for 2011. Your Customer may turn into a new Associate in the new year! Don’t forget to ask for referrals. Your Customers are your best advocates for helping you to grow in 2011.

Happy Holiday Networking!
